About

Embark on a creativity challenge – no coding, no product required. This competition assesses how adeptly you utilize AI tools! "Win with AI" serves as a pre-event for the IHRD Tech Fest "Tharang," aiming to assess participants' knowledge, skills, and creativity across various AI aspects. Elevate your skills and teamwork for a chance at these coveted prizes. Form a team of 3-5 participants and gear up for an unforgettable experience!

Registration Fees
General Entry Early bird offer:- 100 Rs per Team of 3 members. Additional 50 Rs for extra members.

Structure

Round 1 - Online Competition Prelims (Jan 29, 8 PM)

The participants are required to register individually through the site and choose their team. A leader can form their team and other group members can join. A team of 3-5 is allowed to participate. Preliminary round is an Online competition where the team leader will be getting the challenge link. The round will be based on their general knowledge about AI and aptitude. 20 teams will be selected based on their scores. 20 teams selected will have to appear for round 2.

Objective

Assess general knowledge about AI and aptitude.

Criteria

Top 20 teams based on scores.

Round 2 - AI Tools Application (Jan 30, Morning)

Offline

Round 2 is based on application of AI tools Online. The participants must know about the AI tools available. The round will be mostly based on generative AI. Each team will be given a problem statement to generate. This may include creating presentations, content etc.. (other problems will be there, under discussion). The round is timed. The team has to complete the competition in 1 Hour. The teams are judged based on their time and creative prompts. Top 12 will be selected

Assess application of AI tools, particularly generative AI.

Criteria

Timeliness and creative prompts.

Round 3 - Documentation with AI (Jan 30, Morning)

Offline

Round 3 is Documentation with AI. participants are instructed to document assigned user-friendly repositories, emphasizing accuracy for points, adapting to evolving criteria, introducing more repositories if generation is swift, and including inclusive tips in their presentation.

Top 6 teams advance.

Round 4 - Business Analysis (Jan 30, Evening, including Prize Distribution)

Round 4 focuses on Business Analysis with AI. Teams will be presented with a specific problem statement that they need to address. Their task is to devise effective solutions to the given problem and present their findings. Each team will be assigned unique case studies, and their preferences will be considered based on their performance in the previous round. To showcase their solutions, teams must prepare a comprehensive pitch deck and deliver a persuasive presentation.

Objective

Assess problem-solving skills in a business context using AI.

Criteria

Solution effectiveness, presentation skills, and performance in previous rounds.

Outcome

Determine the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) is an autonomous educational institution established by the Government of Kerala in 1987. The institute is registered under The Travancore – Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable societies registrations Act 12 of 1955. The management of the institute is vested with a Governing Body composed of with the Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education, Government of Kerala, as the Chairman and Chief Secretary to Government of Kerala as the Vice-Chairman.

For the past 28 years Govt. Model Engineering College has empowered its students to pave the way for excellence and innovation in the field of engineering and technology. The institute is affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), and was the first engineering college to be established by the Government of Kerala under the aegis of the institute of Human Resource Development (IHRD). The college was previously affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and has witnessed record breaking placements year after year.

IHRD Tharang’23, the first National Level Techno-Cultural-Entrepreneurial event organized by the Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD). Adhering to the theme YOUTH, SCIENCE and LEADERSHIP, IHRD Tharang’23 aims at providing a holistic experience to the students and empower them in building ideas to design models and finished products in technology, cultural and entrepreneurship domains. The tech fest will be held in College of Engineering, Chengannur on February 3rd , 4th , 5th 2023 and job fair on 6th of February.
